(LPI) DYE PENETRANT INSPECTION

(ECI) Eddy Current Inspection
This method is used to inspect through non-conductive coatings (less than 2mm thick) or on uncoated surfaces. And its objective is to detect cracks or other discontinuities on near the surface of ferromagnetic materials.
(MPI) Magnetic Particle Inspection
This inspection is done in accordance with ASME Section V and its objective is to detect cracks or other discontinuities on near the surface of ferromagnetic materials.
